Who I am
I recently married the love of my life, Abigail Pasmore, who is a IAD based 756 First Officer, and together we live in Charlotte, North Carolina with our son and three dogs. Outside of work, I enjoy riding dirt bikes, watching Formula 1, and have recently taken up golf. In addition to my professional commitments, I am deeply involved in volunteer work with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Over the past three years, I’ve helped them re-charter at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and now serve as Chapter Advisor to a group of 45 men, mentoring them in leadership, scholarship, and community engagement.
Personal Life
Education and Professional Background
After graduating from the Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, I began my career as a flight instructor for the university’s flight training program. This experience not only strengthened my technical skills and passion for aviation education but also laid the foundation for my commitment to safety, mentorship, and professional growth. In 2014, I joined PSA Airlines, where I continued to develop as a pilot and union member. In February 2022, I achieved my lifelong goal of joining United Airlines, an accomplishment that represents both a personal milestone and the culmination of years dedicated to advancing within the aviation profession.
My aviation career and union service have been closely intertwined from the very beginning. Early in my career, I served as Chief Union Steward with the International Association of Machinists (IAM), representing one of only two unionized groups of flight instructors in the nation. This unique opportunity deepened my understanding of labor relations and pilot advocacy. After joining PSA Airlines, I became actively involved with ALPA through the Scheduling Committee, where I gained valuable insight into contractual implementation and scheduling related quality-of-life issues.
Upon completing probation at United Airlines, I was eager to once again dedicate my time and energy to ALPA. Over the past two and a half years, I have served on the Council 11 Membership Committee, where I’ve worked to enhance member engagement and education on membership related items. In January, I was honored to assume the role of Committee Chair, allowing me to further strengthen our initiatives and continue fostering a sense of unity and professionalism among our membership, especially our newest members.

What’s Next
Looking ahead, I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to further expand my service by seeking the position of Secretary/Treasurer for Council 11. I view this role as a natural progression of my commitment to supporting our members and advancing the goals of our Council. I am eager to apply my organizational experience, attention to detail, and strong sense of accountability to ensure that our Council’s operations remain transparent, efficient, and financially sound. Most importantly, I look forward to helping unify and strengthen our pilot group, building upon the spirit of unity and collaboration that defines Council 11 and ALPA as a whole.
