Why I Serve

Growing up, I always believed leadership meant showing up for others.

That belief led me into aviation, where I discovered that the strength of our profession depends not only on those of us in the flight deck, but also on those willing to serve behind the scenes.

From working as a flight instructor and union steward with IAMAW, serving on various ALPA committees, and now as your Secretary-Treasurer, I've always believed that leadership isn't about titles, rather it's about earning trust.

Whether I'm mentoring half-wingers, answering questions in the crew room, or representing Council 11 at the MEC horseshoe, my goal has remained the same:

To leave our Council stronger than I found it.
